about

This was written in episodes and woven together like a quilt to make a long form with connecting sounds and channels. The sound of two violins, viola, and cello is a well balanced and compelling alchemic recipe. Capable of the smoothest of sonorities and also in service to wild, ricocheting wave forms. The possibility of blending sounds in this idiom is endlessly fascinating. Writing and hearing this played, from my perspective, created the feeling of flying. Recorded before a live audience July 10, 2005.

1. 0:00 - 2;54. The Trail
2. 2:54 - 9:11. Song from Lost Horse
3. 9:11 - 20:10. Ancestors in the Hands
4. 20:10 - 22:18. Song from Chicago
5. 22:18 - 26:07. Flying
